Wedding Afghan #10 - The Lynchs

I met Jillybean years ago at camp when we both counseled together.  We became fast and furious friends and I look forward to seeing her at camp every summer or just in Maine for early morning breakfasts when we're both home visiting our parental units.

Back in 2010, my Jillybean got married and I was (still am!) so happy for her and Jerome.  They got married in October just before I left the country for a year long (at first thought) trip to New Zealand.  Seeing as we both camped and counseled at our church camp for years I decided that a Tree of Life afghan would be an apt representation of our friendship.  The pattern I found in a Mary Maxim catalogue and it was the prettiest one I'd seen so I ordered the whole kit (first kit afghan I've done to date!) and knit away.  I love how simple the design is and the soft color really lets the pattern stand out.  So happy with this one!
